Sony has already been teasing their camera centric upcoming handset Xperia Z1 which is also popular as the Honami. However, the camera of the handset was till now not seen in a close view. Fortunately for the curious minds, Sony has recently posted the image of the Xperia Z1's camera's picture on the Google+.
The image comes with the caption "Have we captured your attention yet...?". This is one of the latest while Sony has already hinted the water resistant feature of the Xperia Z1 in the previous teaser. This time it is the camera. However, since the device is close to the launch which is slated next month in the IFA Berlin Event, one will ultimately get the better picture of the camera centric phablet then.
However, the only thing the latest teaser reveals is the "G" initial that is inscribed beside the camera lens. The initials could possibly mean that the Sony's G lens could be fitted in the upcoming flagship. The lens is in fact, used in Sony's DSLRs and digicams. If it really comes with the aforesaid lens, surely, it's going to create swirls in the hybrid smartphones where devices like Lumia 1020 and Galaxy S4 Zoom are currently floating. Evidently one can also see a single LED flash right below the camera.
The camera samples taken from Xperia Z1 has also repeatedly leaked online twice in the recent past and to talk about the specs of the handset, the handset is expected to come with a 5-inch TRILUMINOUS display with X-Reality technology having resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal memory (expandable up to 64GB via microSD card).
Moreover, the phone will be stuffed with a 20.7-mega pixel rear facing camera with "G lens "dedicated BIONZ image processor. On the front, there is a 2-mega pixel camera for long video chat. Further, Sony's forthcoming device to sport 2GB of RAM, 16GB of ROM ( expandable), NFC, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, 3G, GPS, IPX5/7 certification, and Miracast , among others. Fans can also expect to see Android 4.3 Jelly Bean loaded in it from day one.
Not only that but Sony Xperia Z1 mini has also leaked recently. Stay tuned to GizBot for more updates.
