Xperia Z2 was launched in India at Rs. 49,990 and Sony is still selling the same at the same launch price across the India. The phone is now available at a reduced price through Snapdeal.com. Under the online market place, several retailers are can sell the Xperia Z2 at different rates.
Sony is also offering a free smart band worth Rs 5,990 and back cover worth Rs 2,990 with the handset. The Xperia Z2 is the successor of Xperia Z1, which was launched just six months ago. The premium phone features a 5.2-inch Full HD IPS display. It is powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 chipset, coupled with 3GB RAM and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with Sony's home baked proprietary skin on top.
The device offers 16GB of ROM, which can be expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card slot. The makers have added a 3200mAh battery fitted inside.
On the imaging front, there's a 20.7MP camera with Exmor R for Mobile sensor. The phone's camera is also capable of shooting videos in 4K resolution.
