Along with the Xperia Z3, Sony has also launched its mini variant of the Z3 in India dubbed as Z3 Compact. Despite the considerable reduction in the size of the phone the Xperia Z3 Compact still bears a high-end price tag of Rs. 44,990. The Sony Xperia Z3 Compact comes in white, black, orange and green color options.
As far as the differences between the Xperia Z3 Compact and the Xperia Z3 are concerned, apart from the smaller display, the smaller variant also comes with a lower display resolution , i.e. HD resolution against Xperia Z3's Full HD resolution.

Yet another differentiating factor is the battery capacity. It is understood that the larger variant comes with a larger battery pack and smaller with less capacity.
