Off late, premium smartphone maker based out of Japan has been surrounded by several rumors pertaining to its upcoming devices. One of the devices from the lot, which is frequently hitting the headlines is the company's Xperia Z3 smartphone. The same smartphone has appeared online yet again touting its back panel.
Although, we've already seen the device previously, courtesy of various leaked images, and this time around the alleged photos confirms that the phone will also be available in white variant. You can also see a 20.7 MP rear camera module mentioned at the pack panel of the phone. Apart from that, the images doesn't reveal much.
Since Xperia Z3 has been leaked several times in the past, we also have a general idea regarding the specifications the device. Perhaps, most of the Sony fans might be disappointment to know that the Xperia Z3 features a similar specs to that of its predecessor Xperia Z2, which was launched earlier this year. However, there will be several minor changes made like the rounded corners instead of the squarish design of its previous flagships.
Sony Xperia Z3: Rumored Specifications
Taking previous leaks and rumors into account, the Xperia Z3 can be expected to launch with a 5.15-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a full HD resolution. The smartphone should be powered by a Snapdragon 801 chipset with 2.5GHz quad-core processor and Adreno 330 graphics coupled with 3GB of RAM, along with 16GB of internal memory, paired with a microSD memory card slot for storage expansion purposes. Sony Xperia Z3 should run under the Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system right from the start.
As mentioned earlier, on the back, the handset will sport a 20.7-megapixel camera, most probably capable of recording videos in 4K resolution, the same as the Xperia Z2 does. A 2.1MP front camera for making video calls while on the go will also be included.
If availability of the smartphone is concerning you, you can expect to see the unveiling of the Xperia Z3 at the IFA 2014 trade show in Berlin in September. The company has not spoken formally about the device as of now and the price range of the smartphone is also yet to be known.
