One of the smartphones that have been hitting the tech headlines quite frequently these days is Sony Xperia Z3. Now recently, a popular Twitter-bound technology leakster @evleaks has revealed few more details about the same device.

According to the latest leak, the Xperia Z3 smartphone would come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset with 2.4GHz quad-core processor, Adreno 330 GPU coupled with 3GB of RAM, 16GB storage and would run on Android KitKat OS.

Moreover, the leakster also says that the phone will use a 5.15-inch full HD display and a 20.7-megapixel rear camera with Sony G lens along with a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera. But again, if the smartphone comes with these hardware, you can hardly differentiate it from the Xperia Z2 which was launched earlier this year.

Obviously, it would be an IP55 / IP58 certified device, which means that like all the other smartphones in the Z series, the latest one will also be dust and water resistant. Further, as per the FCC listing, which was leaked recently, Xperia Z3 is believed to feature LTE, NFC and an IR blaster.

However, reportedly the battery pack that will be used in the phone is still a mystery and sadly if rumors are to be believed, the device will not feature a Quad HD display like LG G3.
Further, reports have also pointed that Sony Xperia Z3 Will be launched in September 2014, during tech show IFA, which is to be held in Berlin.
