Sony has no plans to introduce updated lower-end Android models at present. The makers are happy with Sony Xperia E and the Xperia Tipo. Both are priced under Rs.10, 000 in the Indian market.
While talking to GizBot, the executive over at Sony stated clearly that being a premium brand; it won't make any sense to compare with Indian tech vendors. The company could announce their first 4G LTE handset later this year for the Indian market.
