Spice M6900 And Karbonn Tornado Head To Head Comparison
Touchscreen phones facilitating dual SIMs have increasing demands nowadays and fortunately big mobile phone companies like Spice manufactures such phones and sells them at affordable prices. There is no question about quality when Spice is involved. Another company, gaining a lot of name and reputation which keeps on increasing, is Karbonn preparing to compete in the Mobile markets in India with their own dual SIM touchphones. So obviously, there will be questions as to which among the two offers better phones.

The very elegant, Spice M6900 is Spice's dual SIM touchphone model. Karbonn's best bet to go up against Spice M6900 is the Karbonn Tornado - one of most stylish looking touchphones ever.

Both these handsets sport 3.5 inch TFT touchscreens and offer the best touch experience as they are also capacitive. The display is quite nice with the 320 x 480 screen size.

Tornado comes with a 3.2 Megapixel camera and Spice M6900 also doesn't seem to be holding back sporting its own 3.2 Megapixels camera with night vision, multi shot, photo CLI, etc. Both of these handsets are capable of memory extensibility of upto 8 GB. Only microSD cards are compatible as memory cards. Tornado and the M6900 have almost similar dimensions of 116 x 61 x 12 mm and 62.5 x 116 x 11.6 mm, respectively. The handsets facilitate FM radio with recording as well. The Tornado has normal video recording feature while the M6900 can record videos at 15 frames per second. M6900 has almost 40 MB of internal memory and Tornado is said to have the same.

Spice M6900 supports WiFi connectivity while Tornado doesn't. Both the handsets have the standard version of Bluetooth, version 2.0. Tornado features GPRS and EDGE compatibility. M6900 has the same features. Another significant feature of these two competitors is the 3D user interface. Tornado also includes exclusive 3D widgets as well. Media player in Tornado is pretty good offering good audibility but doesn't have perfect quality though. It seems too amplified. Spice dominates in this category with great media players supporting primarily the mp3 audio and mp4 video formats. The sound quality is great in M6900 and has good audibility owing to the SRS WOW HD feature of its speakers.

M6900 has longer standby and talk time battery backups of 432 and 9 hours respectively thanks to the 1400 mAh Li battery. Tornado's talktime and standby battery backups are lower comparatively and is equipped with 1150 mAh Li ion battery.

The Spice M6900 has a reasonable and very affordable price tag of Rs 5,100/- approximately while the Karbonn Tornado with lesser features is very affordable with a price in India of only around Rs 4,400/-.
