Spice Smart Flo Pace 3 Mi-502n: Affordable 8MP Camera Smartphone Launched at Rs 7499

Spice Mobility has come with a low-end Android smartphone primarily targeted at young brigade of India. The Spice Smart Flo Pace 3 Mi-502n is affordable yet feature rich phone. Back in April, Spice Smart Flo Pace 2 Mi-502 was announced with much fan fare. The newest version is marginally improved over its predecessor. The Smart Flo Pace 3 Mi-502n is priced at Rs 7499 in India. The device has been listed on online shopping website Saholic, but it is yet to go on sale.

The Mi-502n has a 5-inch display having resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. The phone packs a 1.3GHz dual-core processor coupled with 512MB of RAM and 512MB of ROM (expandable up to 16GB via a microSD card slot). The device measures 10.4mm in terms of thickness and weighs 190 grams. Android 4.2 Jelly Bean comes out of the box.

The Smart Flo Pace 3 Mi-502n supports Dual SIM feature too (GSM +GSM) with Dual Standby mode. The makers have added a 2100mAh Li Ion battery. The low-cost Android phone also packs an 8-megapixel camera shooter with LED Flash and a 1.3-megapixel front facing camera for long video chat.

The device does not support 3G but you can browse internet via 2G GSM connection and built-in Wi-Fi. Other connectivity features include: Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS, FM Radio, 3.5mm headphone jack and more.

The Spice Smart Flo Pace 3 Mi-502n is available from the leading retail outlets and Saholic. The phone comes in two color options: White and Blue.

Micromax Canvas Fun A63 vs. Spice Smart Flo Pace 3 Mi-502n

The Canvas Fun A63 carries a 4-inch WVGA display having resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. It is powered by a 1.3-GHz dual-core processor coupled with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of ROM (expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card). Android 4.2 Jelly Bean comes out of the box. There's a 2-mega pixel rear facing camera and a VGA quality front facing camera.

The handset supports 3G connectivity. The makers have added a 1,500mAh Li Ion battery. Highlighted connectivity options include: a 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 2.0, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, FM Radio, and miniUSB 2.0, amongst others. The Canvas Fun A63 is priced at Rs 5,900.

Spice made handset has an edge over the Micromax Canvas Fun A63. The Mi-502n packs a larger display and better camera in comparison to Canvas Fun 63. On the negative side, the Spice Smart Flo Pace 3 Mi-502n does not have 3G connectivity.
