Spice Stellar 440 Released with Dual Front Facing Speakers And Analog TV
Spice has launched the latest phone to join the Stellar line up, the Spice Stellar 440. The phone is listed on the company's site at Rs. 5,249.
The price of Rs. 5,249 is rather obsolete because the Spice Stellar 440 is also available for purchase on the company's e-commerce site for a discounted price of Rs. 4,199. This could be considered as a marketing strategy by Spice and also will be considered as the market operating price of the smartphone.

Two of the big new features that Spice has brought to the Stellar 440 is the Analog TV and dual- front facing speakers. What they basically mean by Analog TV is that the device has access to terrestrial TV channels off the air without any hardware add-ons. It is kind of interesting feature, one that we haven't seen in other phones.
The Stellar 440 sports a 4-inch LCD display with a resolution of 480x800 pixels. It is a dual SIM phone and will run Android KitKat out of the box. The smartphone is all powered by a 1Ghz dual-core processor coupled with 512MB of RAM. What were they thinking? Smartphones with today's standards shouldn't ship with anything below 1GB of RAM no matter what the price. We get 4GB of internal storage which is expandable upto 32GB via a microSD card.

The primary camera is a 3.2-megapixel shooter with an LED flash and the secondary camera is a 1.3-megapixel shooter, further the Spice Stellar 440 offers GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, Bluetooth and 3G (on both SIMs) options.
The Spice Stellar 440 is kept on with a 1400mAh battery that claims 4 hours of talk time and up to 144 hours of standby time on a 2G network.
