Swipe Halo Value+: 7 Inch Tablet With Voice-Calling Hits the market for Rs 6,669
Swipe telecom has come up with Swipe Halo Value+, a low-end 7-inch tablet in the Indian market. It's a successor to Swipe Halo Value that was launched back in March. The tablet comes with basic configuration, and supports 2G voice-calling. The tablet is targeted at first time tablet buyers, so expect basic specifications. The device is priced at Rs. 6,699 from major retail stores and online shopping portals.
The Swipe Halo Value+ packs a 7-inch capacitive touch screen display having a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. The affordable tablet is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor. Users get an option to purchase the tablet with 512MB or 1GB of RAM. Swipe Halo Value+ tablet with 512MB of RAM, is priced at Rs. 6,699, on the other hand, the one with 1GB of RAM for Rs. 6,999.
The 4GB of internal memory is further expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card slot. Android 4.1 Jelly Bean comes out of the box. There's a 2-megapixel rear-facing camera and a front-facing VGA quality camera. The device measures 11.3mm in terms of thickness and weighs 380 grams. The tablet does not support 3G voice-calling nor packs dual-SIM capability. The makers have added a 3000mAh Li Ion battery fitted inside. Other connectivity features include: 2G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3.5mm headphone jack and FM Radio.
