Nokia, now a part of Microsoft, has been falling behind the likes of Apple and Samsung in the handset business. With the failure of Nokia X family and a sudden termination of 'McLaren', Microsoft might have been forced to introspect its future lineup.

Although the rumor land is abuzz with strange speculations surrounding Microsoft's forthcoming mid-range devices; so far nothing much has been revealed on social media.

Now, after a long gap, it is being reported that Nokia is prepping to launch three new handsets onto market. Interestingly, all three Lumia phones could arrive between August and September time frame.

Sources familiar with Nokiapoweruser have revealed that Microsoft might reveal the sequel to the Nokia Lumia 1520. Not long ago, a new Windows Phone device referred to as the "Nokia Lumia 1525," was leaked ahead of global debut. The handset is said to be a variant of the Lumia 1520, a 6-inch phablet that debuted last year.

The Lumia 1525 will reportedly be a Windows Phone 8.1 version of the 1520 with a Snapdragon 801 CPU, which would be an upgrade over the Lumia 1520's Snapdragon 800 chip. The report claims the phone will be available from AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile in the US.

Next on the list is a mid-range handset, which could be a sequel to the Lumia 720. The phone might come with a 5-inch 720p touchscreen and should feature model numbers RM-983, RM-984, and RM-985.

There's an entry phone as well, supposedly a successor to the Nokia Lumia 520. To be known as the Lumia 530, the long-rumored Windows Phone 8.1-based phone might go official later in the month.

As of now, none of these phones have been confirmed by Microsoft. So we advise you to take this rumor as a pinch of salt. However, it should be noted that a few days back two of these handsets were spotted online, there's a full chance to see them live in the market sooner or later.
