This week Indian smartphone market witnessed a number of smartphone launches. Micromax launched its latest Canvas Fire device with KitKat OS, and Asus also launched its latest mid-range smartphone series called Zenfone, which consists of Zenfone 4, Zenfone 5 and Zenfone 6.
Moreover, even Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC, which normally plays in high-end section, has launched its latest two smartphones viz. the Desire 616 and One E8, in the mid-range and high-end category respectively. However, these two devices are not yet available in India but can be bought within the next few weeks.
Compared to most of the weeks, the number of smartphones launched this week was very less, but one of the things that you will have to admit about this week is the fact that these recent smartphones launched are pretty competitive compared to the ones that got launched in the previous weeks.
Thus, today, GizBot has come up with the top five smartphones that you need to know about this week. All these smartphones come powered by Android KitKat flavor and the most expensive one among all is obviously from HTC i.e. One E8.
If you are not aware, all these smartphones that are being launched in India off late or this month, will have to compete with one of the toughest player which has recently entered the domestic market. It's the Xiaomi's Mi3 which comes with high-end specs and is priced at just Rs. 14,999.
The specs of this particular phone is what you will find in last year's flagship devices. The Snapdragon 800 SoC, Full HD display and much more can be found in the Mi3 which we are talking about.
