The world's third largest handset market, India, is very much price-conscious when it comes to selecting a mobile phone.
Every third person in an Indian city is a youth. According to a report, India is all set to become the youngest country by 2012.
According to IDC, the India's smartphone market grew by 229% year-on-year (YoY) to 12.8 million smartphones in Q3 of 2013, compared to 3.8 million units in year-ago period. The demand for affordable handsets in India will increase exponentially in the coming years.
