Top 5 Smartphones Launched This Week: Prices and Specs

Quite a lot of smartphones got launched and announced this week in the global market including the much awaited BlackBerry Classic. Moreover, Samsung also announced a number of devices at the company's annual developer conference held earlier this week.

 

However, not all are meant for Indian smartphone or wearable market. Quite a few devices that got announced this week would be sent to India later but in India itself, a couple of smartphone makers launched their devices.

At the Plugged In event held in Bangalore which will last until Sunday, Gionee announced quite a number of new devices which are all LTE supported devices. While BenQ announced its budget friendly monitor for pro-gamers at the same event.

Apart from that, Obi Mobiles also made its new device available in India. Anyway, today, GizBot has come up with the top 5 smartphones that got launched this week. You can check out the pricing and specs of these devices in the sliders below:

Gionee V6L LTE

The Gionee V6L LTE device is the slimmest of all LTE phones with a 6.9mm thickness. The smartphone is powered by CPU Quad Core 1.2GHz and runs on Android OS, v4.4 (KitKat) and is supported by Internal 8GB, 1GB RAM T-card Up to 128GB. Other features include an 8MP rear camera, LTE connectivity, and 1950 mAh battery and DTS. The device comes with the all new PPT mode wherein you can take pictures instead of notes and motion control where you just need to flip to mute or snooze the phone. It also has a dual SIM slot and a display of 5.0-inch IPS.

Other specs include: a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 5-megapixel front shooter (for selfies), and 3G support. The handset runs on Android 4.4 (Kitkat). The device will also support dual-SIM ((Standard + Micro). The new phone has a somewhat small 2,200mAh battery that keeps the profile slimmer at 7.9mm thick. The smartphone houses 8GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via MicroSD card. The Dual SIM smartphone sports an 8MP rear camera with LED Flash and 1080p video recording capability along with a 5MP front-facing snapper, which makes it a selfie device. Other specs include 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS as the connectivity options. It is powered by a 2100mAh battery.

Also, add additional 15 GB free OneDrive storage to store all your photos or documents. The Microsoft Lumia 535 also features a pretty beefy 1905 mAh battery. Other specs and features include exchangeable back covers, Micro SIM, Dual-SIM/Single SIM, USB 2.0, GPS, Wi-Fi, 3G/2G and more.
