Samsung maintained its leadership in the Indian smartphone market; however, domestic brands such as Micromax are increasingly become popular over a period of time. At the same time smaller OEMs continues to perform well in the market.
But that doesn't mean Samsung is ignorant about the stiff competition. In coming days to come, Samsung is expected to expand its reach with an introduction of seven new handsets, including the much awaited Galaxy Note 4.
Next month, Samsung could bring the Galaxy Note 4 into India. The device, Galaxy Note 4, will be a premium handset and one should be ready to pay a little extra compared to other competitive phones.
Other than the Galaxy Note 4, Samsung could launch the much awaited Galaxy Alpha in the first week of October 2014. Just for the reminder, the Galaxy Alpha is Samsung's answer to the Apple iPhone 6.
