Obviously, the word “Anticipation” makes it clear that these Titans haven’t appeared yet, but there are a lot of people who really want to get their hands on one of these perfect gadgets. Apple’s iPhone series smartphones have always been an easy target for a lot of rumors, not to mention speculations. Now that news is out that Apple is almost ready to launch the Apple iPhone 5, the rumors just increased.

The same goes for Samsung Galaxy S3 – the cool new successor of Samsung Galaxy S2. The Samsung Galaxy S2 is no stranger to popularity, making news about the 3 million units preorder globally at the time of its release. Galaxy S2 is the strongest rival of iPhone 4S. But it is Apple’s reputation for integrating mind blowing technologies to their devices, which makes people think that iPhone 5 is going to be more than meets the eye.

The Apple iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S3 are sure to compete for absolute domination, the moment they are released. There are only rumors and speculations about the specifications of these two handsets. Apple iPhone 5 seems to be having a lot more publicity than the Galaxy S3.

The iOS 5 operating system is what makes iPhone 5 unique, as Apple revealed a few facts about the OS last year. Sporting more than 200 new features, iOS 5 gives an edge to the iPhone 5.

Samsung Galaxy S3 isn’t far behind in the OS, as it is expected to run in the latest feature rich version of Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. Real time speech to text dictation, Facial recognition handset unlock feature, enhanced web browser rumored to support 16 tabs, and improved keyboard error correction are just few of the disclosed specifications in Galaxy S3.

Reports from sources claim that iPhone 5 will have a 4 inch screen with a larger screen size than the iPhone 4S. Galaxy S3 is said to sport a slightly brighter 4.6 inch AMOLED Plus display with 720p resolution. The FOLED Technology will give a new flexible glass for the display in Galaxy S3. This info was leaked from Samsung itself, accidentally. What is most intriguing is the nick name of Samsung Galaxy S3.

Galaxy S3 is referred to as the iPhone Killer by gadget buffs. Reportedly, the Galaxy S3 is pretty powerful, as it is said to sport a quad core 1.8 GHz Samsung Exynos 4212 processor, while the iPhone 5 features an A5 processor with dual core ARM Cortex A9 processor. The A5 processor is believed to have a clock speed of either 1.2 GHz or 1.5 GHz.

Apparently, Galaxy S3 dominates in the rumors, even in the camera specs sector, as it is pretty sure to sport a 12 Megapixel rear camera while iPhone 5 is believed to come with an 8 MP one. But Apple reportedly is working on making its dual LED flash camera in iPhone 5 dominate with a number of extremely cool features, including 3D picture capturing.
