Two new phones from ZTE before MWC 2012
The Consumer Electronics Show 2012 was a treat for gadget buffs and is technically one of the reasons why they look forward to visiting the Mobile World Congress event as soon as the CES ends. Mobile World Congress was supposed to be the launching centre of quite a few awesome smartphones from big time manufacturers like LG, Huawei etc. With the details of the major handsets that are going to be showcased in MWC still remaining undisclosed, people started posting what they expect in MWC in forums.
However, LG decided not to wait till MWC to launch the Optimus Vu and spoil the fun. And following LG’s path is ZTE. ZTE recently announced two smartphones which they intended to exhibit at the MWC. The news about ZTE’s announcements of the cool new smartphones is actually happy news for gadget buffs, especially those who couldn’t make it to the Mobile World Congress scheduled to be held next week.
ZTE’s two new smartphones named as PF200 and N910 are pretty good looking. The handsets also sport some awesome features, which is probably why ZTE decided to try their luck and see if the news of their announcement added to the hype. Apparently it did. The handsets impressed many people on the first look itself. Reportedly only the ZTE PF200 is the high end model of the two, while the N910 is a mid range smartphone.
In order to effectively compete with other high end smartphones in the market, ZTE needs to have some major powerful hardware in the handsets. And PF200 definitely is a powerhouse.Features of ZTE PF200
4.3 inch huge display with 960 x 540 pixels resolution
8 Megapixel rear camera with 1080p full HD video recording capabilities
1.2 GHz processor (most probably dual-core)
Secondary camera
MHL and NFC LTE
DLNA
Features of ZTE N910CDMA cellular network
Display resolution of 800 x 480 pixels; size not known
1.5 GHz processor (probably single core)
5 Megapixel LED Flash camera with Autofocus
1080p full HD front facing camera
WIFI, Bluetooth, LTE
DLNA
GPS module
The handsets are sure to make a difference in the market. Now that people know about these two ZTE handsets, those who attend the MWC would be expecting a demonstration from ZTE at the event, which would be good for the company. The complete details of the handsets, and the regions they will be made available will be revealed at the MWC.CommentsBest Mobiles in India-
