Videocon A29: Affordable 4 Inch Dual-Core Smartphone Launched at Rs 5,799
While there are a lot of cheap Android phones available out there, most of them have pretty awful hardware.
However, things are generally looking good for Indians who are planning on buying a budget-centric phone under Rs. 7000 price segment.
To make sure that each one us have access to internet via uninterrupted 3G connectivity, Videocon today launched an affordable Android powered smartphone at Rs. 5,799. Dubbed the Videocon A29- the dual- SIM handset is aimed at first time buyers.

Videocon A29- Highlighted Specs and Features
The Videocon 29 may not be the cheapest smartphone available in India but its specs are decent enough for average users, who expect basic amenities such as calling, browsing, music listening and more.
Talking about the internal hardware, the Videocon A29 features 4-inch WVGA touch screen display. It is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor coupled with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card slot.
On the imaging front, there's a 3.2-megapixel rear-facing camera, and a VGA quality front-facing shooter.
Other connectivity options include: 3G connectivity, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, Wi-Fi, Dual SIM, FM Radio, Bluetooth 4.0, aGPS, and a 1400mAh battery fitted inside.
The handset will be made available in Sinful Black and Pearl White colour casings.
