Videocon A55HD Phablet with Android Jelly Bean and Quad Core CPU Launched At Rs 13,499
The quad core phablet market in India is getting a great feedback from the consumers and thus the increasing numbers of the similar devices in the market have led to a tough competition among the manufacturers and better options for the buyers. Not only the quad core is being subject to the competition but it is being tested also from the price perspective. Hence the mobile phone arena has already seen the advent of quite a number of devices with quad core processor at a mid range and budget range price as well.
Videocon Mobiles has thus added one more midrange budget phablet called A55HD at the decent price of Rs. 13,499. However, if compared to other quad core devices present in the market, this one may have to face a harsh rivalry against many other devices that are similarly priced.
Going by the specs, the Videocon A55HD sports a 5.0 inch OGS Capacitive Touch Screen display offering 1280 X 720 pixels HD resolution. The standard sixed phablet is powered by a quad core processor clocked to 1.2 GHz and is also supported by 1 GB RAM.
The latest Videocon A55HD runs on the latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean Operating System. Talking about camera, the device houses a 8 MP rear camera with auto focus that also featurs panorama shot and up to 40 continuous shots in a Burst mode. The phablet has a competetive 3.2 MP front facing camera for self-portraits and video call. The phablet comes with the 4 GB internal storage capacity along with 32GB expandable memory via MicroSD. Connectivity options include HSPA 42 Mbps, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/A-GPS. The phablet that is recently launched is powered by a 2000 mAh battery. It also comes with an engaging features like ‘Flip To Silent' and ‘Face Detection ' and a free protective pouch.
The Videocon A55HD also comes with the V-Store, which enables you quick access to favorite apps, including games, mail, social networking, new channels and many, many more from the universe of Android applications.
The Videocon A55HD is sure to have a head to head battle against the unbeatable domestic devices that have stood their ground despite the massive quad core device invasion. Devices like Karbonn Titanium S2, Karbonn Titanium S5, Micromax Canvas Doodle A111, Micromax Canvas 2 Plus A110Q, Lava Iris 504Q, XOLO Q700 and Micromax Canvas HD A116 is very much likely to rival with the Videocon's A55HD. All these homegrown devices are priced below Rs. 14,000 and has a similar 5 inch display and all are powered by a quad core processor.
