Videocon A55qHD: Quad Core 5 Inch Android Phablet Unveiled Online, Releasing Next Week

Trying its luck in the Indian mobile market, Videocon is launching best of the Android smartphones in the budget to mid range category. Recently the company launched mid-range budget phablet called A55HD at the decent price of Rs. 13,499.

Which the company's spokesperson claims got a remarkable response, owning to the success Videocon is all set to launch the successor to the phablet A55qHD in the market by around next week. Yes, the handset has already been unveiled by the company on its Facebook page and official website today and company sources have informed GizBot that it will be released in the market at around Rs 15,000 by next week.

Videocon A55qHD shares the screen size with its predecessor kin, that is, 5.0 inch qHD Capacitive Touch Screen display offering 1280 X 720 pixels HD resolution.

The processor is a little upgraded quad core chipset clocked at 1.3 GHz, supported by 1 GB RAM. The latest Videocon A55HD runs on the latest Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean Operating System. Talking about camera, the device houses a 8 MP rear camera with auto focus that also features panorama shot and up to 40 continuous shots in a Burst mode and has a competitive 1.3 MP front facing camera for self-portraits and video call.

The phablet comes with the 4 GB internal storage capacity along with 32GB expandable memory via MicroSD. Connectivity options include HSPA 42 Mbps, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/A-GPS. The phablet that is recently launched is powered by a 2000 mAh battery. It also comes with an engaging features like Fun Zone, Hungama, V Store, Opera Mini Browser and more. Further, the A55qHD is a Dual SIM phone with FM and will be available in Black and White color variants.
