Mumbai-based electronic company has launched yet another two new budget smartphones under the Infinium series followed by the Infinium Zest Lite, Z50Q Star, Z50Q Lite and Z40 Lite. Dubbed as Videocon Infinium Z40Q Star, Infinium Z50Q Star, this handset sports low end specifications desgined for the mass market.
Videocon Infinium Z50Q Star - Key Specifications
Videocon Infinium Z50Q Star sports a 5-inch FWVGA IPS screen with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. It is clocked at 1.2GHz quad core processor alongside 1GB RAM. Further, it comes with 4GB of internal memory which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot. It runs on Android KitKat 4.4 and powered by a 2000mAh battery. Moreover, the phone has a 5MP camera on the back and a VGA camera on the front.
The connectivity feature includes 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3.5mm audio jack, FM and GPS. Coming in Red, Blue and White color variants it carries a price tag of Rs. 5,999.
Videocon Infinium Z40Q Star - Key Specifications
Videocon Infinium Z40Q Star sports a 4-inch WVGA display with a resolution of 480x800 pixels. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor alongside 512MB of RAM. On the storage department, it supports 4GB of built-in memory, which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card and runs on Android KitKat 4.4 out-of-the-box. The dual-SIM smartphone is equipped with a 5MP auto focus rear camera and 0.3MP front-facing camera. It is fueled by a 1500mAh battery.
Videocon Mobile Phones' Jerold Pereira says that the brand intends to support the Digital India program by offering budget-friendly devices to the market. The company had adopted the tried and tested strategy of bringing more variety to customers in the hope of building a wider user base. It's not like the two new Infinium series phones are vastly different from others in its portfolio.
As there is no official announcement about the releasing date, we are expecting more information in upcoming days.
