Vivo X5 Max: World’s Thinnest Smartphone at 3.75mm Teased
Just last month, Oppo decided to launch the world's slimmest smartphone, measuring at 4.85mm. Now, another Chinese company is ready to unveil a new smartphone even thinner than the existing Oppo R5. Yes, you heard it right!
Vivo, a little known Chinese handset maker, is claiming to come up with the X5 Max smartphone with a profile of only 3.75mm. In fact, the company has already started teasing the device online. Well, the teaser promo material doesn't really reveal anything concrete, as far as the phone's specs are concerned.

However, it does show so many components beneath the screen. Vivo claims that they have moved 90% of the internals along the sides of the display, instead of having them sandwiched between the screen and the back, notes GSM Arena.
Otherwise, the mystery around the Vivo X5 Max remains, as there is very little information leaked at the moment. In the meanwhile, rumors suggest that the handset would come with a 5.5-inch FHD screen, 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek chipset, 2GB of RAM, Android 4.4 KitKat, 13MP main camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. The capacity of a battery is not known.
As always, take these rumors with a grain of salt for now. We'll keep you updated about the Vivo X5 Max as it become available.
