Xiaomi has quite the reputation in its homeland China for the kind of smartphones the company makes. And similar to most of the Chinese handset makers in the market these days, Xiaomi is yet another entry to test out the Indian market. Xiaomi's entry in the Indian market has been quite impressive, honestly. And that's due to the new Mi3 handset the company has now listed on its Indian site for users to purchase.

Going through the specs of the device once more, the Xiaomi Mi3 sports a 5-inch IPS display offering a full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) and 441ppi pixel density with Corning Gorilla glass protection. It is powered by a 2.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 (MSM 8974AB) processor coupled with 2GB DDR3 RAM and it runs a custom interface dubbed MIUI that is a very different take on Android.

The smartphone also features a high-end camera modules. You will find a 13MP rear camera with LED Flash, Sony Exmor BSI sensor, f/2.2 aperture, 1080p full HD video recording along with a 2MP front-facing camera with similar specs as the rear camera. The latest Xiaomi smartphone which measures 114mm×72mm×8.1mm and weighs 145g will house a 16 GB internal memory. Connectivity options include 3G, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4/5 GHz), WiFi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and NFC and will draw its energy from a 3050mAh battery.
