It was back in February 2013, when the first image leak out of white Nexus 4 was witnessed by the tech media world. However, now the device has again surfaced online this month, along with rumours saying it would be unveiled on June 10.
Also, there are reports circulating that the device will come flavoured with the new 4.3 Android Jelly Bean operating system. Android Police have now got their hands on the press renders of the white Nexus 4.
Also, their report disclosed that the white model will only be available in 8GB and 16GB variants. A bit of a disappointment there, as the 32GB variant has had it's fare share of demands. Besides this, it is likely that the smartphone will come sporting the same set of specifications as the black Nexus 4.
Specwise, the new model is expected to sport the same 4.7-inch IPS display that has a resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels with Zerogap technology, quad-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 2GB RAM, 8GB/16GB internal storage, 8MP rear camera, 1.3MP front camera for video calling, NFC, wireless charging, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 2,100 mAh Li-Po battery with 15.3 hours of talk time and standby of 390 hours. Currently, the device runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and 16GB model has been launched in India at Rs. 25,990.
Meanwhile, Google has not officially commented on the unveiling of the device or the new operating system. You should probably go ahead and mark June 10h on your calendar, things should be more transparent by then.
