Another India based smartphone maker Wickedleak has today officially launched its high-end smartphone called the Wammy Passion X. The device which comes with an AquaProtect waterproof technology has been priced at Rs. 22,499. The device is currently available on the company's official store.
Apart from the waterproof build, the device comes with pretty good specifications. First of all, it uses a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD OGS display. There is a competitive 1.7 GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6592 processor coupled with 2 GB RAM of RAM powering the smartphone. Sadly, it will run on older version of Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS.
You will get to see a compelling 13MP rear camera with BSI sensor and LED Flash which is capable of recording video at 1080p quality. While there would also be a massive 5MP front-facing snapper that will be more than enough for better selfies and making video calls.
Native storage capacity sits at 16GB and can also be enhanced up to 64 GB via MicroSD card. In the connectivity front, 3G, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth, and GPS will be present. Besides that, you will also find a Dual SIM support in the device.
The latest Wammy Passion X measures 8.95 mm thick and weighs 150 grams. The device is powered by a 2500 mAh battery.
This smartphone might just give Sony's Xperia smartphones and Micromax's Splash a real hard time in the market. Moreover, even at the danger zone lies a smartphone from Intex called the Aqua Octa which comes powered by Octa Core processor. It was launched earlier this year.
