Micromax A116 Canvas HD Killer?

So far, Wickedleak was launching handsets with single and dual core processors, however, with the launch of Wammy Passion Y, it seems like Wickedleak is competing directly with Micromax.

Analzying the specs, Wammy Passion Y seems to be a stiff competitor to Canvas HD as it comes with 5 inch IPS HD display, quad core processor and Jelly Bean OS. However, Wickedleak has priced it slightly higher than Canvas HD, which can be justified with its beefier battery spec.

Just to remind of Canvas HD, the phablet houses a 5 inch HD IPS capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, 1.2GHz quad core MediaTek MT6589 processor, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, 8MP rear camera, VGA front camera for video calling, 4GB internal storage, 1GB RAM, micro SD card slot supporting up to 32GB additional storage, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS and a 2,100 mAh battery.

Commenting on the launch, the company spokesperson was quoted stating, "At Wicked Leak, we constantly strive to innovate and develop great technological experiences for our consumers. With the Launch of our first quad core phone in this segment, Wicked Leak continues offering consumers a great user experience with latest features and added functionality. We are excited with the success of Wammy Titan and Wammy Note, which has clearly established Wickedleak as a Key player in the new 5-inch phablet category in India.
