Xiaomi Mi 3 Review: Battery Life and Verdict

Although the handset is primarily thin in its build, but Xiaomi Mi3 still packs in a more than decent 3,050mAh battery. And for the sake of comparison, that's 250mAh more than what the Galaxy S5 provides and a brilliant 450mAh more than the HTC One M8.

But it's not only the numbers that make up the battery. On the contrary, Mi 3 is quite stellar in the battery department. Especially with its brilliant battery life and charging speed, the Mi 3 is a treat to own. Let alone dying out midway, the battery is actually capable of running on an on.

Also very interesting is the kind of speed the handset incorporates while getting charged. For example, we found out that the device's battery shot from 0 up to 60 in just an hour. And that's quite the catch if you are heavy user.

It's quite hard not to recommend the Xiaomi Mi 3. The handset is the biggest example of what you can achieve for the least amount possible. It's brilliant in nearly every aspect. In fact, the Mi 3 looks like a bright sign of things to come from the potentially gifted Chinese phone-makers.

As we have said extensively over the course of this review, the Mi 3 handset is one that marks the year in terms of how the Chinese handsets will do in the market this year. And if going by what we have seen until now, things are bright going down the line.
