Finally the wait comes to an end as the world's third largest smartphone maker Xiaomi has launched its latest flagship, dubbed as Xiaomi Mi Note. According to the China-based company the Mi Note is the 'most epic flagship device of the year.'

The Xiaomi Mi Note is 6.95mm thin, weighs 161 grams and is 155.1 mm tall with 77.6 mm wide. The screen flaunts a 5.7 inch display, hence categorazing it as a phablet.

The display is protected by by 2.5D Gorilla Glass 3, while the rear is covered by a 3D version of the same material, and according to Xiaomi, it will be more resistant to scratches and shattering.

That 5.7-inch screen is basically a Sharp JDI panel with 1080p resolution and 386PPi. The quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chip processor is clocked at 2.5GHz, along side the Adreno 330 GPU and 3GB of RAM. The Mi Note features Xiaomi calls- "dual 4G standby", where users can use either a nano or a micro SIM card.

The audio features are specifically highlighted, as the phone features a 24-bit/192KHz lossless audio support, so people who love music will love it!The front shooter is a 13MP Sony IMX214 sensor with six-element lens and f/2.0.

The camera has optical stabilisation, along with Philips two-tone flash. Selfies can be taken by a four-megapixel front snapper unit, with large pixels similar to HTC UltraPixels. The Mi Note is powered by a 3,000mAh Sony/LG LI-PO battery.

It will be priced around ¥2299 (approx Rs. 22,917) for the 16GB model, and ¥2799(approx Rs. 27,901) for the 64GB variant, once it becomes available starting from January 27.
