As promised, the Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi, announced a new limited edition variant of the Mi Note. Dubbed as Mi Note Natural Bamboo Edition, this device sports a back panel made of natural Bamboo.
Moreover, the Bamboo panel is 0.9mm in thickness after 19 processing procedures and the overall weight of the device is 5 grams less than the standard Mi Note.
As far as the specifications concern, it features the same as the Mi Note. Recapping, it sports a 5.7-inch capacitive display with a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels which is translated into 386ppi.
It is powered by a 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 along with 3GB RAM. On the storage, it is equipped with 16GB or 64GB of internal memory, with no expansion slot in it.
Moreover, on the imaging factors, this device flaunts a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, 4MP front camera under the hood. This dual SIM note runs on Android and supports connectivity options like Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, 3.5mm audio jack and supports sensors like Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor. It is powered by a 3000mAh battery.
Coming to the price, Mi Note Natural Bamboo Edition carries a price tag of 2299 yuan (approx Rs. 23,190). The registration for the first sale is open now in Chinese market and it will go on sale from March 24.
As of now there is no word about the pricing and the availability of this limited edition device on the global roll out. Meanwhile we are expecting it in the upcoming days from the official authorities.
