Xiaomi Mi4 Launched in India at Rs 19,999: Registration Starts Today
Xiaomi has been busy lately, the company has been launching and updating its devices regularly and giving its users new hope. Plus proving itself a tough competitor for Apple and Samsung, mainly apple to be precise! After the launch of Mi Note and Note Pro few days back at Beijing, Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi, plans further to strengthen its position in the Indian market, its has launched 3G enabled Xiaomi Mi4 today. The device was launched months back in China and it is a bit late in India.
Xiaomi Mi4 - Key Specifications
Xiaomi Mi 4 sports a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels which translates into 441 ppi resolution. The display is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 as scratch resistant. The device is clocked at 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor and Adreno 330 GPU along with 3GB LPDDR3 RAM. The device carries a dimension of 139.2 x 68.5 x 8.9mm thickness and weighs around 149 grams.

Mi4 features a 13MP rear camera with LED Flash, Sony IMX214 BSI sensor and 4K video recording. On front, it has a 8MP snapper with Sony Exmor R sensor. This smartphone will have either 16GB or 64GB built-in storage. On the software front, Mi 4 runs on Android KitKat 4.4.3 on top of MIUI 6. It is powered by a huge non-removable Li-Ion3,080mAh battery, according to company, it claims to have 280 hours standby, also keeps Mi 4 running for 1.5 days on a full charge.

Manu Jain, Operations Head, Mi India, said: "The Mi 4 re-affirms our commitment to bring more Mi products to India. We will continue to work on offering our Mi fans incredible value as we introduce even more great devices in the coming year, and the best user experience ever."
On the connectivity side, it supports 3G Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, hotspot, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, Infra-Red port, microUSB v2.0, FM Radio, 3.5mm audio jack. This handset supports some sensors like Accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, barometer.
The Mi 4 will be supported by Mi India's 66+ service centres, including five exclusive Mi service centres in Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Cochin to ensure a robust after-sales service and a hassle-free customer experience.
The 16GB variant of Mi4 is priced at Rs. 19,999, and is exclusively available on the e-retail store Flipkart. The registration for the Mi 4 16GB starts today and will go on sale on February 10th
