As far as the specifications of the Mi4 are concerned, the device features a a 5-inch FHD display. It is powered by a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. In the imaging department, it comes with a 13-megapixel rear facing camera with LED Flash and an 8-megapixel front facing shooter.

The makers have added a a 3,080mAh battery fitted inside. On the connectivity front, it supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and 3G. The phone runs Android 4.4.3 KitKat with Xiaomi's MIUI 6.0 slapped on top.

Xiaomi Mi4 is definitely more streamlined than its predecessor. It has got a beefy processor under the hood. But it's the internal memory, not the design that's likely to garner mixed reactions. The device comes with 16GB of internal memory, whereas the OnePlus One, a rival smartphone offers 64GB of native storage. Experts believe that Xiaomi would have launched the 64GB version of the Mi4 at Rs. 19,999.
