With lots of rumors surrounding about the Xiaomi's upcoming Mi4 successor, popularly known as Mi5 here comes the latest update. While the smartphone is highly anticipated to be launched at CES 2015, a new leak from weibo.com shows the black variant of the soon-to-be-unveiled phone.
The new leak suggests that Xiaomi Mi5 will feature 5.5 or 5.7-inch glass display with a resolution of 1440x2560 pixels. And according to the report, Mi5 will have Sapphire-Screen for the limited version. Adding to that, Xiaomi will reportedly manufacture 50,000 limited units. This flagship model is also said to come powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 Chipset alongside 3GB of RAM. Moreover, the rumors suggest that it will employ 20.7MP rear camera while the front camera specs is unknown.
In the past reports, the CEO of Xiaomi president Lei Jun had confirmed that his company would be introducing its new flagship phone at CES next month. Xiaomi Mi5 white variant photo which was leaked earlier had the front-facing camera, the light sensor, razor thin side bezels and the Mi logo, which we can't see on the leaked image of the black model.
As the full specifications of this flagship model is unknown, we are expecting more details in the Consumer Electronics Show 2015. Until then..
