Xiaomi isn't just planning a new version of the Mi4 (dubbed, "Mi4i), with a new leak suggesting that the Chinese tech giant is also planning on refreshing its Redmi Note series.

Xiaomi is looking forward to launch a new Redmi Note device codenamed Xiaomi H3Y with FHD Display, MediaTek MT6795 processor, 13MP main camera (Samsung S5K3M2) and 5MP front snapper (OmniVision OV5670) and MIUI 6 based on Android 5.0, according to serial leaker @upleaks (via GSM Arena).

So far, the Redmi Note has been a complete success for the company in countries like India and China. The upcoming Redmi Note 2 could be an interesting choice; however, the alleged leaked specs aren't that interesting. Except for the upgraded screen and processor, there's nothing spectacular about the forthcoming Redmi Note 2.
