Xiaomi has been milking the Indian smartphone market with its affordable Redmi 1S smartphone in an enormous manner. The smartphone has become a threat to even the Moto E from Motorola which was launched at the same price range. The Redmi 1S is priced at Rs. 5,999.
The device has yet again proved its popularity in India as it just went out of the stock yet again on Flipkart today in just 5.2 seconds. The number of units that got sold today was comparatively higher than the ones that were sold in last flash sales. This time it was 60,000 units that went out of stocks in mere seconds.
Totally the company has sold over 1.8 lakh Redmi 1S smartphones in India till the fourth sale. Sill it is getting over 3 lakh registrations every week. The company would start registrations for 30th September sale at 6PM today.

The Xiaomi Redmi 1S sports a 4.7-inch touchscreen display delivering an HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution at a 312 ppi pixel density. Other specs, include 1.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM, MIUI software, which is based on the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system, Adreno 305, 8GB of internal memory, microSD memory (64GB), 8-megapixle camera and LED flash, 1.6MP front camera, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth and 2000mAh changeable Li-ion battery.
