The company first came into highlight with its previously released Xiaomi Mi 3 and its proprietary MIUI interface. Both the smartphone and the UI, as it seems, has picked up well with the Indian users with the handset selling out in record time.
However, with the potential Mi 3 release out of the way, the company is now focused on the upcoming Redmi Note handset. And as of recently, the Redmi Note has already been announced with 4G LTE and Snapdragon 400 support.
Doing a recap on the specs of the Redmi Note, the handset sports a 5.5-inch display with 720 pixel IPS support. The device has 2 GB of RAM coupled with 1.7 GHz MediaTek MT6592 octa-core processor.
It has 8 GB of onboard storage and a micro-SD card slot that supports another 32GB. The device runs on Android 4.2 that has been optimized with MIUI version 5.
Apart from that, the device sports a primary 13MP rear camera with LED flash, alongside a 5MP snapper at the front of it. The phone is juiced via a massive 3200mAh battery. So don't worry about running out of juice in the middle of the day.
