The phone features a 5.5-inch display. At 1280 x 720 worth of resolution, the screen makes the device best suited for hard core gaming. The firm is touting the screen to be a major advantage.

The Redmi Note is powered by a 1.7GHz Mediatek's MT6592 octa-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM. Performance of the handset should be at par with high-end handsets available at much higher prices.
