Straight out of the popularity garnered by its Redmi 1S handset, Xiaomi has now released the brand new Redmi Note in India with specs that were previously unreal for a handset in its price tag. Another smartphone maker, Asus, is also in the mix, however, with the Zenfone 5.

With both the handsets falling exactly under the same price quotient, it can be seen how much focus has been placed on the budget segment of the market. However, if we were to find a winner out of the two, it has to be said that the Xiaomi-made Redmi Note has better goods on offer. And with its 2GB of RAM, big battery and even a better camera, the Redmi Note easily takes the cake.
