The OEM plans to use this warehouse to accelerate the process of deliveries made to its customers when the orders are placed through their online site or any other online portal vending Xiaomi products.
Till date Flipkarty used to handle the import, warehousing and distribution for Xiaomi. However, recently Xiaomi started selling accessories on its own site. Earlier this week, Xiaomi ended its exclusive partnership with Flipkart and started selling its products on Amazon and Snapdeal as well.

This clearly suggests that Xiaomi is trying to boost its online and offline presence in the Indian market. As they finally realize that only online retail with an exclusive website won't fetch them the stats they are aiming for.
