Xolo A500L Dual Core Smartphone Now Available Online for Rs 5,999: Top 5 Challengers

Few days back, native smartphone vendor Xolo, listed a new handset on the company's official website named A500L without revealing the official price or availability. Now it seems that the affordable phone Xolo A500L is already on sale. Yes, GizBot has first spotted the Xolo A500L on online retailier Saholic site selling at a retail price of of Rs. 5,999 with 1 year manufacturer's warranty.

Basically, the Xolo A500L is quite similar to another low-end handset from the same company under the A-series, the Xolo A500S. As A500L is a low-end handset, it comes with a 4-inch display having a resolution of 480×800 pixels.

It is powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core MediaTek MT 6572 processor with a Mali 400 MP GPU coupled with 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal memory ( expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card slot). Android 4.2 Jelly Bean comes out of the box. There's a 3.0-megapixel rear-facing camera with an LED Flash and a VGA quality front-facing camera. The device measures 11.9mm in term of thickness and offers 3G connectivity.

The Dual SIM phone comes with an array number of connectivity options: Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, 2G (EDGE), A-GPS, and FM Radio. The makers have added a 1500mAh battery fitted inside.

The Xolo A500L is a basic Android phone with nothing much to offer. These days the Indian handset market is flooded with hell lot of similar handsets, especially, in the low-end price tag. Neither of them is working to improve customer servicing nor adding unique features in the low-cost phones.
