Xolo today launched the Q2100 smartphone with fingerprint sensor in India. It is available at Rs. 13,499 at all authorized retail counters and modern trade outlets. The device offers advantage over regular patterns locks as only the owner can access the device and one simply cannot forget the fingerprint.
The built-in fingerprint sensor in Xolo Q2100 is located on the top back of the device and allows users to unlock the screen and quickly access the device at the swipe of the finger. Maximum 3 fingers can be enrolled and successfully decoded as a part of this authentication process.
Adding to the convenience, the fingerprint sensor in Q2100 is also integrated with LastPass - the password manager app. Users will also be able to access LastPass app with a swipe of their finger, access the app with the fingerprint sensor and reach all your accounts securely. No more hassle to remember multiple passwords.
Xolo Q2100: Key Specifications
The Xolo Q2100 comes with 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT65882 processor with 500 MHz Mali 400-MP2 coupled with 1GB LPDDR3 RAM. It runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS.
The latest Xolo smartphone comes with an 8MP rear camera with Exmor R sensor, dual LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture and is capable of shooting video at 1080p quality. At the front, users will get to see 2MP snapper.
Internal storage seats at 8GB and it is expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD card. Connectivity options include 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB OTG and it is a Dual SIM smartphone. The Xolo Q2100 comes with 152.4 x 75 x 9.3 mm and is powered by a 2800 mAh battery.
In addition to this, XOLO Q2100 also comes pre-loaded with Peel Smart Remote app that revolutionizes what a universal smart remote does. Equipped with IR Blaster, this smart remote app lets users browse what's on TV now or search for shows they want to watch later.
To tune into a TV show, all users have to do is tap on the show they want to watch and then tap "Watch on TV" to change the channel on their TV.
