If you are following the Indian smartphone brands off late, you might have noticed that most of them like Micromax, Karbonn, Lava and Xolo are making the best use of the Android KitKat versions. Moreover, Xolo is one among the lot which has been coming up with several smartphones and yet again the company is reportedly said to be planning to launch a new device.
Interesting news is that this new flagship device will be launched with a new proprietary UI. The screenshot which GSMArena got hold of, clearly shows the new Xolo UI. If specs of the flagship device is bothering you, it is reportedly said to sport a 5-inch HD display with Gorilla Glass 3 screen protection.
It will be powered by an octa-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and will obviously run on Android 4.4 KitKat or later version.
Although, it is not confirmed but rumors have it that Xolo will use a 13MP rear camera module along with an average front facing shooter as well. It will possibly have 16GB of internal storage.
According to GSMArena, the new ROM provides a unique set of features and enhancements over the stock Android that will allow users to interact and engage amongst fellow users and with the company's developers itself. Moreover, Xolo Hive will give you an exclusive opportunity to put across what features you need on your smartphone and eventually get them. It also comes out with a new set of icons, dedicated media console and newly designed control panel among other graphic improvements.
If the source close to GSMArena is to be believed, than the new smartphone with the brand new UI will be launched sometime in the second week of July.
