Xolo, which is the premium smartphone arm of Lava has today listed its latest smartphone - the Opus HD on its official website. Although, the device has not been officially launched at the moment, the website mentions the price as Rs. 9,499. The Xolo Opus HD comes in black color and since it is already listed on the site, you can expect the launch soon.
Xolo Opus HD: Key Specifications
The Xolo Opus HD uses a 5-inch capacitive touch screen IPS OGS display offering a an HD resolution of 1280 × 720 pixels.
Powering the device is a 1.2 GHz quad-core Broadcom (BCM23550) processor with 312 MHz Vidcore IV GPU. There is also 1GB RAM for faster performance and the smartphone comes with Android 4.4 (KitKat) out-of-the-box.
Talking about photography, the new smartphone sports an 8MP Auto Focus Camera with BSI 2 sensor and it is accompanied by an LED Flash. At the front, you will see a 2MP front-facing snapper.
Internal storage seats at 8GB and it is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD. Connectivity options include 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and it is a Dual SIM smartphone with Dual Standby.
The smartphone which measures 143 x 71 x 7.9 mm comes powered by a 2500 mAh battery.
The latest offering from Xolo in a form of Opus HD features quite trending specs. If you check out the specs of the Android One smartphone, you will find it identical to the Opus HD. The only difference is the larger display in this model.
