Xolo Play 6X-1000 Smartphone With Android, Hexa-Core Processor Listed At Rs 14,999: Top 10 Rivals

Domestic smartphone maker Xolo has launched a new Android KitKat handset, dubbed Play 6X-1000 in India. The gaming centric-phone, Xolo Play 6X-1000 will be powerful enough to play games for a longer duration. It's a mid-range phone with above average specifications. The handset comes with a 5.0-inch display with a 720p HD resolution. It is powered by a 1.5GHz Hexa-Core processor, backed by a 600MHz Mali-450 graphics engine and 2GB RAM. The phone runs on the latest Android 4.4 Kitkat mobile OS.

The device sports an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with a single LED flash and BSI sensor, while there is a secondary 2-megapixel front-facing shooter. The phone offers an 8GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD (up to 32GB).

On the connectivity front, the device includes 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/ A-GPS and USB OTG. The makers have added a 2100mAh battery, which is rated for up to 24.68 hours of talk time on 2G, and up to 14.75 hours of talk time on 3G networks.

Xolo Play 6X-1000 will be up against many popular handsets including the BlackBerry Z3, HTC Desire 516, Motorola Moto G, amongst others. The new handset is priced at Rs. 14,999. Stay tuned to GizBot for more updates!
