Indian mobile manufacturer Xolo is taking aggressive steps to capture the smartphone market in India. The company's is all set to launch another Intel based smartphone soon in the market at a mid range price point. Dubbed as Xolo Play T1000, the upcoming smartphone has been leaked online.

Reportedly, the handset which should be the company's first Tegra 3 powered device, is expected to launch later this month, at Rs. 15,999.

According to a latest report by, AndroidNova the specifications of the smartphone was found in Nenamark test. The Play T1000 is said to be a gaming phone, sporting a 4.7-inch 1196 X 720 IPS display, 1.5GHz quad-core Tegra 3 processor, ULP GeForce GPU, 1GB of RAM, 8-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front camera, 8GB of internal memory and 2,000mAH battery. The device is expected to be flavored with Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean.

Moreover, the XOLO Play T1000 is said to support Full HD 1080 p video recording and playback. Apart, from the specs mentioned above, there is no information on other features of the smartphone.

Well, going by the reports, the specifications surely look to be pretty impressive, Play T1000 should be able to support games just fine. Since the handset is categorized as a gaming phone, it wouldn't be a surprise, if it comes per-loaded with gaming apps. Taking a closer look at the image, at the smartphone's display, you can spot a racing car. The image does have a striking resemblance to Asphalt 7. Perhaps, more information will only be known when the company officially unveils the device.
