Xolo Play Tab 7.0: 7 Inch Nvidia Tegra 3 Powered Tablet Goes Official at Rs 12,900

Xolo, an arm of Lava International, has launched a new 7-inch Android based tablet in the Indian market. The Xolo Play Tab 7.0 is powered by Nvidia Tegra 3 (quad-core) mobile processor. The tablet also comes loaded with TegraZone, a dedicated app store for downloading games. The Play Tab 7.0 is now available in India for Rs 12,900. 

As far as the specifications are concerned, Xolo Play Tab 7.0 comes with a 7-inch having a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. Under the hood, you will notice Nvidia's Tegra 3 quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of ROM (expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card slot). The makers have added a 4000mAh Li Ion battery.

There's no 2G or 3G connectivity built-into the device. Moreover, you will find a 2-megapixel camera on the front side. Android 4.1 Jelly Bean comes out of the box.

XOLO Play Tab 7.0 marks the first tablet in the XOLO Play category of products, powered by NVIDIA Tegra. Similar to XOLO Play T1000 smartphone launched in July, the Tab delivers similar entertainment now on a bigger 7-inch screen," said Sunil Raina, Business Head at XOLO.

Recently, the company announced Xolo Play Tegra Note, expected to be launched in late October at an estimate cost of Rs 16,990.
