Just a couple of days back, Xolo's latest handset Q1000 Opus which features a Broadcom (BCM23550) processor, went up for pre-order in India. Now the same handset has been released online on Infibeam at Rs. 9,999.
Refreshing on the specs of the handset, it comes with a 5-inch FWVGA capacitive touch screen display offering a resolution of 854 ×480 pixels.
As said earlier, the device is powered by a1.2 GHz quad-core, Broadcom (BCM23550) processor coupled 312 MHz VideoCore IV GPU and 1GB of RAM. The device runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS.
A 5-megapixel rear camera with BSI sensor, LED flash comes in handy to take pictures. It is capable of shooting videos at 720p HD quality. There is also a presence of a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing snapper for taking selfies and video calls.
The handset houses 4GB of internal storage capacity and can be further enhanced up to 32GB using microSD card.
When it comes to connectivity features, regular options like 3G HSPA+ up to 21 Mbps, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and USB OTG can be found. Apart from that there is a Dual SIM (GSM + GSM) with Dual Standby support very much like all the other Indian smartphones.
The device that measures 72.9×143.3×8.95 mm is powered by a 2000 mAh battery.
It is available in White color and will probably be available from December 16th. Lava's premium smartphone arm Xolo has a rich collection of handset in the Q range like the Q500, Q600, Q700, Q800, Q900, Q1000, Q1000S and Q2000. And all of these devices are powered by quad-core processors.
