Xolo Q1000s Quad Core Phablet Rumored to Come in July: 5 Popular Quad Core Rivals

XOLO is reportedly said to launch a new smartphone called Q1000s in the Indian market soon. According to NDTV Gadgets report, the phone will be released in the end-of-July at the approximate price of Rs. 16,999.

Perhaps going by the rumored specs that are taken for a multiple reports, Xolo Q1000S is expected to come with a 5-inch HD display and will be powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor. Talking about camera Xolo Q1000S is likely to come with a trending 13-megapixel rear snapper and a premium 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone will obviously run on the latest Android version Jelly Bean Operating System. Moreover, this smartphone is said to come with just a 6.8mm thickness.

As more of the domestic mobile phone manufacturers are coming up with the premium devices it is sure that Xolo wants to add their name to the competition as well. Thus the ongoing rivalry between the latest devices Micromax Canvas 4 and Karbonn Titanium S9 will definitely be more stiffer when the Xolo Q1000S will make its advent in the market.

Although Xolo has a rich portfolio of devices with high specifications like Xolo Q600, Q700, Q800, and Q1000 in its 'Q' Series and their price varies from Rs. 8,999 to 14,999, their best flagship smartphone is the X1000, which comes with a monster 2GHz Intel processor. The device is priced at Rs. 17,790 on Flipkart.

Apart from this, the Indian smartphone maker has also recently put Xolo Play T1000 for preorders. The smartphone will however be made available for buying on July 15, 2013 at Rs. 15,999.

Xolo Play T1000 is powered by Nvidia Tegra 3 processor as we had reported earlier. Xolo Play T1000 will have 4.7-inch display with a resolution of 720X1280 pixels and pixel density of 312ppi. Internally, the smartphone will have 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded by up to 32GB through a microSD card. Xolo Play will run on Android 4.1.1 (Jelly Bean). For camera, there is an 8-megapixel rear camera with BSI sensor and a 2-megapixel front snapper. Xolo Play will be a Dual SIM smartphone and other connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 and GPS/ aGPS. The smartphones comes with a 2,000mAh battery on board. The rear camera also supports 1080pixel video recording.

LG Optimus G Pro

LG Optimus G Pro sports a 5.5-inch 1080p Full HD IPS Screen and comes with a 400 ppi pixel density offering a resolution of 1920 x 1080 Pixels. Optimus G Pro runs on Android v4.1.2 JellyBean OS layered with the Optimus 3.0 UI and is powered by a massive 1.7 GHz Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 along with a Adreno 320 graphinc. The device is also supported by a 2 GB RAM. And comes with the internal storage capacity of 16 GB (10.5 GB User Memory).

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 sports a 5.55-inch Super AMOLED capacitive screen and provides a high quality 1280 x 720 pixels HD resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 N7100 features an 8 megapixel primary camera along with LED flash to click pictures in low light. The camera doubles up to record Full HD video and play HD video as well. The phone sports a 1.9 megapixel secondary camera for video calling easily.
Connectivity options include GPRS, EDGE technology which allow the user to connect to the internet via the 2G network, HSDPA and HSUPA, 3G, WiFi, micro USB and Bluetooth.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 N7100 comes with 16 GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 64 GB using a micro SD card. The device is powered by a 3100 mAh Li-Ion battery and is currently priced at Rs. 36,645.

Micromax Canvas 4

The Micromax Canvas 4 A210 comes with a 5.0 inch 920 x 1080 pixel full HD Capacitive touchscreen Display with IPS and 16M colors. Further, the phone weigh around 158 grams and boast a dimension of 144.5 x73 x 8.9 mm. The device is armed with a MT6589, quad core 1.2 GHz MediaTek ARM Cortex A7 processor. The Canvas 4 comes with 1 GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, expandable memory up to 32 GB. Further, the handset house a 13 MP rear camera and a massive 5 MP front camera. The smartphone runs on Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean. The handset comes with dual-SIM support, dual standby, FM, 3.5mm Ear Jack, GPS, GPRS, EDGE, HSPA, Wi-fi, USB, 2G, 3G, bluetooth 4.0, but no NFC. HTC One X

HTC One X runs on a powerful 1.5 GHz Quad Core processor and is based on the the lower version of Android v4 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. The One X features the HTC Sense user interface that offers a collection of customizable tools and features to the users.
HTC One X sports a 4.7-inch Super LCD 2 capacitive full HD touchscreen that supports a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixel with 16 M colours. It is also packed with ULP GeForce powered graphics.
The handset is loaded with an 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flashwith a rapid-fire continuous shooting feature and simultaneous 1080 x 1920 pixel HD video recording at 30 fps. The camera features an auto focus, BSI sensor, Geo-tagging and face and smile detection. The One X comes with a 1.3 megapixel secondary camera as well. As always it also features a Beats Audio sound enhancement system.

The One X is enabled with GPRS, EDGE and 3G, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, DLNA, micro USB port, HDMI port, TV Out Port and a 3.5 mm audio jack. The HTC One X comes with a internal storage capacity of 32 GB and lack a microSD card slot.

The handset is powered by a1800 mAh Li-Po battery and is currently priced at Rs. 34,999.
