Lava's premium smartphone arm Xolo has officially launched the company's latest smartphone called the Xolo Q1200 in India. It was in fact on sale since last week. The company is offering the handset in white color and is priced at Rs. 13,999. It is available for order from online retailers and will ship starting June 10th.
The latest offering from Xolo will stand as a direct competitor against the popular Moto G smartphone in India.
Xolo Q1200 comes with a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display and it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor with Mali 400 MP2 GPU. For multi-tasking purposes, you will get a 1GB RAM in the device and the Q1200 runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean), which according to the company is upgradable to Android 4.4 (KitKat).
The handset is also pretty much a great imaging device as it uses an 8MP rear camera with Dual LED Flash and Sony Exmor R sensor. Moreover, at the front you will also get to see a 2MP unit.
Xolo has offered an 8GB of internal storage in the device which can be further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.
Connectivity options include 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and USB OTG. It is powered by a 2,000 mAh battery.
In terms of other features, it has a unibody metallic design and comes with a range of software features such as Gesture control to browse pictures, change videos and change tracks, Voice Recognition to accept calls, snooze alarms, Float Task dual window feature to pin apps to the Float Task screen, double touch to wake up from the lock screen, smart reading and more.
