Xolo Q2000 Now Available at Rs 14,296: Top 5 Rivals

Just yesterday, Xolo Q2000 phablet was listed on the company's official website and now the handset has been made available on online retailer at Rs 14,296. It falls in the popular Q series of smartphones from Xolo.

Of late Xolo has been launching quite a number of handsets in the market and the latest ones which got launched are Xolo Q800 X-Edition and Xolo A500L. Both these devices are currently available at the price of Rs. 11,999 and Rs. 5,999 respectively.

Lets take a look at the specs of the handset:

The Xolo Q2000 is one of the company's largest phones with a 5.5-inch capacitive touch screen IPS display which offers an HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.

The phablet is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589W processor and a 357 MHz PowerVR SGX544 GPU coupled with 1GB of RAM. The device runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS.

It has a 13-megapixel auto focus rear camera with BSI sensor 2, LED Flash, 1080p full HD video recording and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera as well.

Xolo Q2000 houses an 8GB internal memory which is expandable up to 32GB with microSD.

Moving on to the connectivity options, it comes with a regular features like 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS and USB OTG. Obviously, it comes with a Dual SIM (GSM + GSM) support dual standby.

The device measures 156 x 77.8 x 9.8 mm and weighs 180 grams and is powered by a 2600 mAh battery.

The Xolo Q2000 would be bundled with an anti-slip flip cover and a USB OTG cable.

When it comes to competition, among the domestic manufacturers, Spice Pinnacle Stylus Mi-550, Karbonn Titanium S9 and the Micromax Canvas Doodle 2 would surely stand against this handset. Apart from these, iBall Quadro Andi 5h and Micromax Canvas 4 would also be a serious competitor. All these handsets stand at the same price range and similar specs.

Spice Pinnacle Stylus Mi-550

The Spice Pinnacle Stylus Mi-550 has a 5.5-inch display having a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The device is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of ROM (expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card slot). Android 4.2 Jelly Bean comes out of the box. Karbonn Titanium S9

The handset comes with a 5.5 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display offering a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and a 267 ppi pixel density. It is powered by a quad-core processor clocked to 1.2 GHz coupled with 1GB of RAM. The handset runs on Android v4.2 (Jelly Bean). The phablet also features a 13 MP rear camera which can shoot at 4128 x 3096 pixels and comes with autofocus and LED flash. There is also a 5MP front facing shooter. Karbonn Titanium S9 supports GPRS, SPEED, WLAN, WiFi, Bluetooth, USB and 3G and a Dual SIM ((GSM + GSM) support like other domestic handsets. Karbonn Titanium S9 houses a 16GB internal storage capacity which can be further enhanced up to 32GB by using a microSD card slot. Battery The handset draws its energy from a 2600 mAh Li-Ion battery.

Micromax Canvas Doodle 2

The Canvas Doodle 2 comes with full aluminum body with a 5.7 inch display. The display comes with the HD IPS display and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean), which can be upgraded through FOTA. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad core processor coupled with 1GB RAM and promises superior quality graphics, multi-tasking and improved application performance. The phone is also enabled with smart gestures that allow users an array of features like, ‘Proximity answer phone, Proximity dial phone', Flip to silent, Flip on call for speaker. The massive phablet sports a 12.0 MP rear camera with LED flash and a Premium 5.0 MP front camera which will facilitate video chatting. There is a 16GB of internal memory in the handset which can be expandable up to 32GB. In the connectivity front, the phablet features 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, microUSB, GPRS and EDGE. Eventually the phablet is powered by a 2600 mAh battery, which promises a talk time up to 8 hours.

iBall Quadro Andi 5h

iBall 5h Quadro features 5-inch IPS screen which offers a display resolution of 960×540 pixels and comes with the pixel density of 220 ppi which is quite good compared to other smartphones. The handset is powered by a massive 1.2GHz quad-core processor which is presumably a MediaTek Cortex A7 chipset along with 1GB RAM and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system. The smartphone is relatively slim at 9.9mm and is rather feature packed for the price it costs. Talking about camera, the phablet comes packed with a 12-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel camera on the front as well. Besides being the dual SIM handset, the smartphone supports 3G networks along with a regular connectivity features like Bluetooth and USB. There is a 4GB of internal storage capacity and has a microSD card slot which supports up to 32GB of storage. Eventually the phablet is powered by a 2,200 mAh battery which is pretty good compared to other similarly sized handsets.

Micromax Canvas 4

Micromax Canvas 4 A210 comes with a 5.0 inch 720 x 1280 pixel HD Capacitive touchscreen Display with IPS and 16M colors. The device is powered by a quad core 1.2 GHz MediaTek ARM Cortex A7 processor coupled with 1 GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, expandable memory up to 32 GB. Further, the handset will house a 13 MP rear camera and a massive 5 MP front camera. The smartphone runs on Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean and any firmware update for the phone will be rolled out over the air. The handset comes with dual-SIM support, dual standby, FM, 3.5mm Ear Jack, GPS, GPRS, EDGE, HSPA, Wi-fi, USB, 2G, 3G, bluetooth 4.0, but no NFC. The new device comes with 2,000 mAh battery and has a aluminium casing, which should make the phone look really tough.
