Xolo Q3000 Smartphone With 5.7 Inch FHD Display Spotted Online: What About Rivals ?
After making users gaga gaga over the coming of Tegra 4 powered tablet, Xolo will soon launch a massive FHD phone in India. With number of International brands already launched their respective extra large Full HD phablets in India at earth shattering price; Xolo is the latest entrant to launch its flagship handset around Christmas period.
The Xolo Q3000 appears to be a premium offering considering its massive display size and heavy duty in-built hardware. The yet to be announced phone has been listed on Flipkart under ‘coming soon' tag.
Both manufacturer and online retailer have been tight lipped in respect to pricing and retail availability. Since the phone constitutes an extra large 5.7-inch FHD display (at par with Samsung's Galaxy Note 3), the device should be priced on a higher side. How much users have to pay for the device is what comes to mind instantly.

The Xolo Q3000 shouldn't be priced beyond Rs.23,000 in the Indian handset market. We have already seen that how consumers rejected Micromax Canvas Turbo A250 and other handsets offered by domestic vendors in the similar price range (Rs.19,990). Nevertheless, Xolo as an entity is doing well with number of hit devices under its kitty. It is to be seen whether Indian users would pay a premium for a handset manufactured by domestic vendor. Only time will tell.
Xolo Q3000-what about specifications?
Domestic vendor Xolo has been churning decent handsets without compromising on build quality. The tech vendor recently announced Xolo Q1000 OPUS at a price point of Rs.9,990. And now the makers have come with dual-SIM Q3000 which will soon go official in the Indian market.
The Xolo Q3000 seems to be high-end handset, a premium phone with a large 5.7-inch Full HD (1920x 1080) IPS display. The Android 4.2 Jelly Bean handset comes with a 1.5GHz quad-core Turbo processor (MediaTek MT6589T), backed by 2GB RAM, PowerVR SGX544 graphics and 16GB of internal memory, which can be expanded via a micro-SD card slot. Also, there is a 13-MP rear-facing camera with LED Flash and a 5MP front-facing camera on the front. The phone measures 8.9mm in terms of thickness.
The handset is stuffed with a whopping 4,000mAh battery fitted inside with 33 hours of talk time on 2G and 21 hours of talk time on 3G. Xolo Q3000 will be available in white color. Other connectivity features include: Dual SIM, 3G, Wi-Fi, 2G EDGE, A-GPS, USB OTG, mini-USB, FM RADIO , and more.
As mentioned earlier, Xolo is yet to reveal the exact details around price and retail availability of soon to be launched mammoth phone.
Xolo Q3000 will soon hit Indian retail stores, but in the meantime users should also know about rival handsets available in the market. Take a look!

Samsung Galaxy Note 3
The Note 3 packs a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED Full HD display. The device is powered by an Octa-Core processor (1.9GHz quad + 1.3GHz quad), coupled with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of ROM (expandable up to 64GB via a microSD card slot).
The device measures 8.3mm in terms of thickness and weighs 168 grams. Android 4.3 Jelly Bean comes out of the box. The makers have added a 3,200mAh Li Ion battery.
There's a 13-mega pixel rear back camera with Auto Focus and LED Flash and a 2-mega pixel front facing camera. Samsung KNOX is enterprise level security software to protect sensitive data found in your Galaxy Note 3.
HTC One Max
HTC One Max comes with a massive 5.9-inch Super LCD display having a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Under the hood, a 1.7GHz quad-core processor powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 SoC with Adreno 320 GPU and 2GB ram keep this beast running. The One Max features a 4MP UltraPixel camera, a similar imaging technology found inside the HTC One. There are some cosmetic changes made by HTC.
Android 4.3 Jelly Bean comes out of the box with Sense 5.5 on the top of it. HTC One Max incorporates a fingerprint scanner given beneath the camera module. The sensor acts as a quick launcher and up to three apps with three different fingers are supported. There are some cosmetic changes made by HTC.
For instance, the rear back cover is now removable, so that you can use a microSD card to upgrade the 16GB of built-in internal memory. The device measures 10.29mm in terms of thickness and weighs 217grams. The fitted internal battery, a 3,300 capacity should be enough to give ample juice.
Micromax Canvas Turbo A250
The Canvas Turbo A250 features a 5-inch IPS FHD display having a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It comes with a 1.5GHz processor powered by MediaTek (MT6589T), 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage (non-expandable).Android 4.2 Jelly Bean comes out of the box. The makers have added a 2000mAh Li Ion battery with 7 hours of talk time promised. There's a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with Auto Focus and LED Flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The Canvas Turbo A250 also offers an array of connectivity options: Bluetooth 4.0, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GSM, Dual SIM, Micro USB, 3.5mm headphone jack and much more.
Lenovo K900
The Lenovo K900 comes with a 5.5-inch IPS display having resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels at 400ppi. It is powered by a 2GHz dual-core processor powered by Intel Atom Z2580 chipset coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB ROM (non-expandable). Android 4.2 Jelly Bean comes out of the box with Lenovo's own home backed UI on the top. There's a 13MP rear facing camera with Auto Focus, Dual LED Flash Light and F/1.8 lens on the board. Also add a 2MP camera on the front. The makers have added a 2,500mAh Li Ion non-removable battery. Other highlighted specifications include: 3G, Wi-Fi, 2G, Bluetooth 3.0, and A-GPS, among others.
Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8
The Galaxy Mega 5.8 is a dual SIM handset with a giant 5.8-inch TFT capacitive display having a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. The massive phone has a 1.4GHz dual-core processor coupled with 1.5 GB of RAM and8GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via a microSD card. There's an 8-mega pixel rear facing camera with Auto Focus and LED Flash and a 1.9-mega pixel front facing camera, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean comes out of the box,. Other connectivity options include: Wi-Fi, 3G, Dual SIM , Bluetooth,2G, A-GPS, and 2,600mAh Li Ion battery.
